The product-like architecture pattern was designed to be repeatable and extendable across multiple modules within the airport, while the unified service app used a model-driven architecture to stay interoperable with every airport application it touched. Underneath it all, an AWS infrastructure architecture provided fault tolerance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery, and Ascendion also envisioned a seamless, enhanced experience for customers at kiosks and service desks.
