Title: Warehouse Associate II
Location: Austin, TX
Job Description:
- The Warehouse Associate is a temporary worker responsible for supporting both inbound and outbound warehouse operations at a warehouse facility or fulfillment center.
- This role is critical to maintaining smooth daily operations across receiving, stowing, picking, packaging, and shipping functions.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working at a sustained pace in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. - This associate will work collaboratively with team members and adhere to all safety protocols while consistently meeting established productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Activities
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy, condition, and completeness.
- Stow products in designated storage locations in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Scan and record inventory data using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
- Maintain organized, clean, and compliant storage areas to support operational efficiency.
- Flag and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Outbound Activities
- Pick products accurately from storage locations based on order specifications and pick lists.
- Package items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials and packaging standards.
- Apply labels and prepare packages for outbound shipment in accordance with shipping guidelines.
- Verify order accuracy and quality prior to release for dispatch.
- Stage outbound shipments in designated areas and coordinate with shipping team as needed.
General Duties
- Follow all facility safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Consistently meet or exceed established productivity targets and quality benchmarks.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with peers, team leads, and supervisors.
- Participate in shift briefings, safety meetings, and required training sessions.
- Assist with additional warehouse tasks, special projects, or overflow assignments as directed.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center environment.
- Experience in pick, pack, ship, or stow roles
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for full shift duration
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs unassisted, with team lift for heavier items
- Travel up to 25%
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanners or computer terminals
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and team-first attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanner technology
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Forklift or pallet jack certification is a plus
Shift Details:
Employees will be places on either front half or back half shifts depending on business needs and will may work up to 14 hours per day.
- Hours = 20+ hours per week
- Shift = 10, 12 or 14 hour shifts.
- Front Half = Sunday - Wednesday
- Back Half = Wednesday - Saturday

Salary Range:$23,000 - $28,000 Annually -Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
