About the Role:

Role:NOW HIRING: Drone Inventory Specialist – Austin, TX

Location:Austin, TX |100% Onsite
Job Type:6-Month Contract 
Hours:24–30 hours/week
Shift Options:Front-Half (Sun–Wed) or Back-Half (Wed–Sat)
Start Time:Typically 5:00 AM–6:00 AM

We’re looking forhands-on, detail-oriented Inventory Specialiststo join a new drone operations site inAustin, TXand help keep daily logistics and inventory workflows running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage dailyreceiving, picking, packing, and stowingoperations
  • Maintain accurate inventory of customer packages and site supplies
  • Operatemanual pallet jackssafely to move freight across the facility
  • Use digital inventory/warehouse management systems to track stock movements and orders
  • Perform inventory audits and help maintain operational accuracy
  • Support daily site readiness and logistics workflows

Schedule & Launch

The facility will operate7 days a week, with teams divided into Front-Half and Back-Half schedules.

  • Initial shifts may be12 hours, transitioning to approximately10-hour shifts in November
  • Early morning coverage will support daily flight windows

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience ininventory, warehouse operations, logistics, or field operations
  • Comfortable learning and usinginventory/warehouse management software
  • Ability to safely operate amanual pallet jack
  • Ability to lift up to25 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
  • Reliable and comfortable working early-morning shifts
  • Willingness to work onsite in Austin, TX
  • Ability to travel up to25% during initial onboardingfor hands-on training
  • Travel expenses will be fully reimbursed

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to be part of anew site launch supporting an innovative drone operation, with the chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving logistics and technology environment.

Location : Austin, TX (onsite)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $22,000 - $27,000 annually.  Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.  Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
