Job Title
Tax Accountant II
Key Responsibilities
- Making recommendations based on payroll tax expertise and industry trends
- Identifying, troubleshooting, providing, and implementing viable solutions to issues within the payroll tax processes
- Recommending and applying policy adjustments on key payroll tax processes
- Recognizing key versus non-key controls and driving accountability of controls
- Driving implementation of broader payroll tax process improvements
- Assessing work collaboratively to align on most important tax work
- Proactively tracking and identifying trends through data and metrics
- Providing consultation, developing, and proposing updates to existing or new processes as a result of business or legislative changes
- Developing changes or enhancements to current documentation/policies
- Influencing stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Advising on payroll tax matters and recommending best practices on payroll tax processes
- Executing tax learning opportunities for non-payroll tax partners
Required background and skills:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in tax compliance software and MS Office
- Ability to identify and collaborate on process efficiencies
- Experience in payroll tax, including payment, reconciling, and filing
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in tax compliance software and supporting database tools (SAP, SuccessFactors, ADP)
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, etc)
- Intermediate Excel proficiency (mostly reading data)

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$90,000 – 100,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
